Job Description
Join Lactalis at our Bonnievale Plant in the Dry Stores department with the main responsibilities of daily picking of packaging and raw materials to factory. Must have at least 1 year experience as Forklift Operator in manufacturing environment. Must have a valid forklift license. Adherence to all Food Safety, General Safety & Health policies, procedures and legislation. Be fluent in English and be computer literate.

Duties & Responsibilities :
Collecting, transporting and delivering of raw- and packaging material on demand to the different manufacturing departments plants
Offloading and checking of all raw materials, packaging and ingredients on a daily basis
Participate in daily Cycle Counts and monthly stocktakes.
To ensure that all movements on all products are properly transfers, according to procedure to ensure good stock control
Operating a Forklift Machine in accordance with relevant safety procedures and maintaining the machine in good working condition.
Check on battery maintenance on forklift and complete the battery logbook
Forklift operator must operate safely to reduce damages products
Complete daily check sheet on forklift equipment
Ensure that the Dry Store is neatly packed and the pallets are stacked correctly
