The Claims Agent will play a crucial role in managing and resolving insurance claims within the UK property sector.Key ResponsibilitiesClaims Processing: Handle incoming claims from policyholders, ensuring all required documentation is collected and reviewed.Investigation: Assess the validity of claims by investigating circumstances, reviewing policy documents, and analysing evidence.Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to explain coverage, claim status, and next steps. Provide guidance and support throughout the claims process.Negotiation & Settlement: Negotiate fair settlements with claimants, legal representatives, or third parties.Compliance: Ensure all claims are processed in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claim activities.Fraud Detection: Identify potential fraud or misrepresentation and escalate as necessary.Skills & QualificationsStrong understanding of insurance policies and legal protection products.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Analytical thinking and attention to detail.Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.Familiarity with claims management systems and basic office software.
