Deep understanding of Inquiry-Based Learning. Mentoring, supporting, and team teaching with a Teaching Assistant. Facilitating learning within the preschool environment that caters for a diverse range of learning needs and styles. Establishing and maintaining a teaching environment that is both safe and nurturing. Job RequirementsRequired Qualifications and Experience Appropriate professional qualification (minimum NQF Level 5). SACE Registration. 3 years’ experience in ECD education (Grade 000 – Grade R).Candidates should have the following attributes: A warm and nurturing disposition with an unwavering devotion to teaching preschool children. Must have excellent written, verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy and proficient IT skills imperative. Prepared to work according to the school’s ethos, specifications, and policies. In-depth knowledge of best practice classroom activities and teaching methods for this age group. The flexibility, ability, and willingness to work outside school hours, when necessary. Must be a team player and work alongside colleagues collaboratively.
